Daylight Saving Time & EVV Visits

  • Mar 6
  • 1 min read

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission announced that the EVV systems will automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time on March 8.

Because of the one hour time change, EVV visits that occur during the overnight transition may appear to reflect one hour less worked time in the system.

If visits are entered manually, attendants should continue recording their actual start and end times, and the system will account for the time change.

No action is required from CDS employers or attendants. This is simply an automatic adjustment within the EVV systems.
